Our Mission

Through participation in the annual FIRST Robotics Competition, local university VEX robotic competitions, support of local FIRST LEGO League teams, and multiple community outreach activities, FIRST Team 1100 inspires young people from Algonquin Regional High School and surrounding communities to be science and technology leaders. We accomplish this by engaging them in challenging mentor-guided programs that build science, engineering and technology skills that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life skills including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.
