Team 1100 is free to join, our meetings are never mandatory, and they happen during weekday evenings and weekend mornings, leaving time for homework, sports, and other school activities.

Team 1100 “Inverse Polarity” is a competitive robotics team that welcomes high school and professional members from the Northborough-Southborough ARHS community. We compete through the international FIRST Inspires program, including competitions across the country. Students can earn scholarships to hundreds of colleges for STEM and other majors
Networking Opportunities through Robotics!
Through our competitions and community outreach events, there are plenty of amazing networking opportunities throughout the year for any field you may be interested in! Alumni from Team 1100 often visit and even mentor the team, allowing you a weekly opportunity to pick the brain of former team members who pursued a range of careers and interests after high school. At competitions, you never know who you'll run into - a new friend, future colleague, maybe even a person who's hiring interns!
On our team, there's something for everyone!
We welcome everyone, no matter skill level or experience as our technical and non-technical sub-teams allow you to build skills in any and all areas that you're interested in - Software, 3D Printing and Manufacturing, Electronics, Engineering Design, Technical and Creative Writing, Entrepreneurship and Marketing, Community Outreach and Public Speaking are all important parts of Team 1100
