Time for Change

 As you may have heard, the Algonquin Tomahawk mascot has been retired. As such, Team 1100 will no longer be known as the T-Hawks. From now on, we are proud to call ourselves Inverse Polarity!

Our high school comprises two towns: Northborough and Southborough. For many students, especially incoming freshmen who have not met their “other-borough” classmates, these towns seem to be polar opposites. In fact, there is a continuing view that one town is better than the other. We discourage this. Since our school is changing its mascot in order to be more inclusive towards other cultures, we decided to change our name. We are “Inverse Polarity” because our goal is to break down the differences between the opposite boroughs (north and south) and unite as one Team 1100.
